Currently our client is expecting a large number of generation connections on its distribution feeders from the newly initiated Feed In Tariff (FIT) program. Their system was designed as a load only system and introduction of a large number of generators have created a challenge both from the point of reliability and operability. Therefore it is required to ready the supply stations for generation connections by upgrading its feeder protection and transfer trip facilities.
The scope of work covers commissioning of feeder protection, telecommunication, monitoring and control equipment required for DG connections at various selected locations across the province, mostly in Southwestern and Eastern Ontario, on specified sub-transmission or distribution lines. Experienced staff will be required to do this on site commissioning before all the final inputs and outputs are connected to the live and in-service system for final integrated commissioning and transfer of control.
